Speed Dating Q&A 💬

Get to know our experts a little better. Quick questions. Honest answers. A few surprises.

We’ve asked some light-hearted questions to give you a glimpse into the personality behind the strategy. From what inspired their career to the meal they could eat every day, here’s a closer look at the people helping you plan your financial future.

What inspired you to work in financial planning?

I’ve been interested in finance since high school. I chose financial planning because it lets me work directly with clients while still researching investments and strategy. Helping people make confident financial decisions that improve their future is what I enjoy most.

If you could give your younger self one piece of financial advice?

Put aside at least 10% of your income into long term investments, in addition to super. Starting early makes a bigger difference than most people realise.

If you weren’t in financial planning?

I used to teach sailing and windsurfing when I was younger. If I wasn’t in finance, I would likely be teaching sport or outdoor activities. I’ve always enjoyed helping people build confidence and new skills.

One small financial habit that makes a big difference?

Saving a percentage of your income consistently and investing it. It sounds simple, but consistency is powerful.

One meal you could eat every day?

Beef burritos. Easy choice.

Dinner with any three people?

Walt Disney, Barack Obama and Albert Einstein. That would be a fascinating table.

Bucket List ✈️

Travel to South America.
