Peace of Mind When It Mattered Most

When David's health took an unexpected turn, he and his wife Margaret found themselves navigating one of the most stressful periods of their lives. A workplace injury had left David unable to continue in his role, and the road ahead felt uncertain.

It was during a routine review meeting that the topic of Total and Permanent Disability (TPD) cover came up. David hadn't considered applying, he wasn't sure he'd be eligible, and the process seemed daunting on top of everything else he was managing. After talking it through with his adviser, David decided to lodge a claim.

The application was successful, and the result gave David and Margaret genuine breathing room at a time they needed it most.

Margaret later shared with us that if it hadn't been for that conversation, they simply wouldn't have thought to pursue the claim at all. She said knowing there was someone looking out for the details, not just the paperwork, but the bigger picture of their financial wellbeing, made all the difference.

As a next step, David and Margaret have asked us to bring their superannuation under one roof with Vostro. For them, it was a natural extension of the trust built through that experience, and a way to make sure the same personalised attention applies across all their financial affairs going forward.

This is exactly the kind of outcome we hope for with every client relationship: not just the technical result, but knowing someone in your corner is looking out for you when it counts.
