Shrove Tuesday: A Time for Pancakes and Team Spirit

Pancakes Bringing People Together

Last week, we celebrated Shrove Tuesday or otherwise known as Pancake Day!

It is the feast day for those who celebrate Lent, where people indulgence in food before a period of fasting. Traditionally, ingredients like eggs, milk and sugar were used up and that's how we got pancakes!

This year, we gathered together as a team and ate pancakes, prepared by Sam. We each customised our own pancake toppings and reflected on themes such as discipline and preparation.

Lent isn't just about giving things up; it's about gaining perspective (or realising how much you really love chocolate). It's the season of reflection, growth and maybe even testing your willpower against having that extra slice of cake!

Warm regards from the Vostro Family!
