Reflection, Service and Perspective
Observed each year on 25 April, ANZAC Day marks the anniversary of the landing of Australian and New Zealand Army Corps troops at Gallipoli in 1915. Over time, it has become a day of national remembrance, honouring all Australians and New Zealanders who have served and died in wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations.
Across the country, the day is recognised through traditions such as dawn services, marches and moments of silence. Many pause in the early morning to reflect, attend local commemorations or simply take time to acknowledge the service and sacrifice that have shaped our nations.
